Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Stevenage

Shifts: Continental Days & Nights

Salary: £47,500

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all plant and equipment are maintained at peak efficiency and are repaired promptly when required.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Diagnose and correct automation, electrical, and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations.
  • React quickly and efficiently to breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct PLC fault finding to input and output level.
  • Enhance machine reliability through regular planned preventative maintenance.
  • Deliver turn-key improvement projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Focus on safe working practices and site performance KPIs, including OEE and CCOs.

Requirements:

  • BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
  • 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Engineer.

This role would suit: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, or Packaging Engineer.
