Job Title - Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Rate: Up to £47,513

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)

Industry: FMCG/Manufacturing

Location: Stevenage

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow as a Maintenance Engineer, working alongside experienced colleagues.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting proactive and reactive maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
  2. Responding promptly to unscheduled plant stoppages.
  3. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure maximum efficiency.
  4. Possessing a good understanding of the process, products, and quality procedures.
  5. Overseeing planned maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  1. Recognized engineering qualification.
  2. A recognized engineering apprenticeship with a formal qualification.
  3. Food Safety awareness (desirable).
  4. Experience with industrial 3-phase motor and control systems and their interaction with modern PLC systems.
  5. Experience with plant pneumatic control and operation, as well as common industrial bearing systems.
