About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Exterior Design Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Automotive Design and Engineering, with a focus on Exterior systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of Exterior systems, including Bumpers, Grilles, Fenders, Exterior Trim, Spoilers, and Lighting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage supplier relationships and coordinate with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Develop and implement DFMEA, Interior manufacturing methodologies, and general requirements.
  • Conduct DVP and testing, and ensure production releasing and launch readiness.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Automotive Design and Engineering, with a focus on Exterior systems.
  • Strong background in CAD viewing software and experience with virtual and physical phase testing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
