Job Title: Exterior Systems Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Exterior Systems Design Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design process for responsible components within exterior systems, leading the way in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) practices to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible components.
  • Own the exterior systems and attribute delivery.
  • Report to Principal Engineers responsible for the relevant commodities.
  • Prepares full project documents.
  • Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products.
  • Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full systems, including some but not all of: Bumpers, Exterior Trim, Body Panels, Accessories, Mirrors, Glazing, Washer and Wiper Systems
  • Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.
  • Identify and highlight any areas for continuous improvement.
  • Guide other CAD engineers in design standards and engineering practices.
