Job Title: Exterior Systems Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Exterior Systems Design Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing exterior systems for our revolutionary electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop exterior systems, including bumpers, exterior trim, body panels, accessories, mirrors, glazing, and washer and wiper systems.
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Own the design process for responsible components, leading the way in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) practices.
  • Develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
  • Ensure responsible designs meet legal compliance.
  • Identify and highlight areas for continuous improvement.
  • Guide other CAD engineers in design standards and engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong and proven relevant experience in exterior systems.
  • Automotive experience essential.
  • A 'can do' attitude and a focus on achieving great results.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive towards a common goal.
  • A calm multitasker who successfully manages, prioritizes, and executes against deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
