About the Position

We are pleased to offer the role of Sanctuary Supported Living Worker, where you will contribute to delivering high-quality support services to individuals who have experienced homelessness.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is £12.50, based on the job's requirements and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to our customers, focusing on promoting their independence and self-confidence.
  • Developing and updating comprehensive support plans that cater to individual needs and preferences.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Nurturing strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy, privacy, and dignity.
  • Collaborating with external support services to enhance customers' overall health, wellbeing, and employability.
  • Addressing unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Maintaining precise and detailed records of customer interactions and progress.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • A proactive attitude, flexibility, and a 'can-do' approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, alongside proficient literacy and numeracy.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while meeting deadlines and targets.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to pursue it is essential.
