We are recruiting a Clinical Evidence Coordinator to contribute to the creation of clinical guidelines that improve patient care and health outcomes. This pivotal role involves undertaking systematic reviews, drafting protocols, extracting and critically analysing data, and summarising findings through meta-analyses and evidence profiles.

About the Role:

This role combines systematic research, stakeholder collaboration, and administrative oversight. You will work closely with our Clinical Standards Unit to develop robust clinical guidelines that support better patient care and health outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking systematic reviews, drafting protocols, and extracting and critically analysing data.
  • Summarising findings through meta-analyses and evidence profiles to support guideline development groups (GDGs).
  • Assisting with refining literature search strategies and managing references.
  • Preparing and reviewing manuscripts to ensure consistency with organisational standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Postgraduate degree in epidemiology, health sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in conducting systematic reviews and data synthesis.
  • Strong document production skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of GRADE methodology and familiarity with medical databases (desirable).

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £36,000 per annum.
