Reed HR is seeking a Regional HR & Payroll Team Manager to join our client on a permanent basis.
This is a home-based role with travel, covering service centres in Croydon, Chessington, Exeter, and Swansea.
You will oversee a team of 7 direct reports and ensure the efficient operations for a part of the HRSS team.
The role involves utilising systems such as Workday, Promark, and Service Now.
You will manage the end-to-end time and attendance system, including managing access rights for all users, ensuring coordinators remain compliant and act within all legislations, including GDPR.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing standardized processes and procedures for shared services, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Continuously monitoring and improving process efficiency, identifying areas for enhancements.
- Collaborating and working closely with other Regional Managers to ensure consistency across the business.
- Managing established SLAs, ensuring clear expectations regarding service delivery timelines.
- Regularly reviewing SLA performance, addressing any deviations or issues, and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Leading and mentoring a team of 7 individuals across different sites, providing ongoing feedback and promoting a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and personal growth.
- Supporting change initiatives within the coordinators, effectively communicating changes to impacted team members, and supporting operations projects and requests.
- Supporting the training of policies and processes to ensure compliance standards across the coordinators are up-to-date, completing audits of each site, including new starters, leavers, and payments raised.
- Taking a lead role in the implementation of annual salary increases, ensuring all communication and instructions are clear and concise, and providing support to payroll and the rest of the HRSS team when required.
Essential skills include:
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Good numeric and keyboard skills.
- Excellent communication skills, to support sensitive and critical personnel conversations.
- Proficient in MO365 tools, particularly strong Excel skills, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Driver with a UK license.
