Therapeutic Service Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Service Lead to join our team at Step Forward. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating our therapeutic service offer to local young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams in different services.
  • Manage a small caseload of clients, providing assessments to new young people who want to access our service.
  • Coordinate the delivery of short, medium, and long-term individual and group therapeutic and wellbeing interventions.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the effective delivery of our therapeutic services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our therapeutic service offer.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy and professional accreditation.
  • At least 4 years' experience of working with young people aged 11-25, with at least 2 years of providing 1-2-1 counselling and group interventions to young people aged 11-25.
  • Experience in being a team leader or as part of a management team, preferably in a young people's or voluntary sector service.
  • Flexibility to work at times when young people can access our services, including daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
