Nursery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 care to individual children, supporting their educational plans and liaising with the Room Manager.
  • Work with the behaviour management, equal opportunities, and SEN representative to ensure the child's needs are met.
  • Write and update the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and liaise with relevant representatives and the Nursery Manager.
  • Keep colleagues informed and disclose relevant updates regarding the child's progress.
  • Work closely with external professionals and agencies involved in the family support of the child.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Level 3 in Early Years is required.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.
