As a Young Women's Support Advocate, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to young women (16-25) who have experienced violence and abuse. Our organization, Women's Aid, is committed to empowering these individuals to take control of their lives and move forward towards a safer future.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to young women, focusing on their specific needs and goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement support plans
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local authorities and other support services to ensure seamless referrals and transitions

For this role, we require an individual with a degree in a relevant field, such as youth work, social care, or counseling. Essential experience includes working with vulnerable populations, with a focus on young women. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary, as is the ability to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Salary: Estimated £30,500 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
