Forward Leeds is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Community Harm Reduction Specialist. This position requires an ability to engage with individuals experiencing complex vulnerabilities, delivering harm reduction interventions on an outreach basis and supporting them towards wider treatment provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote harm reduction and public health initiatives among vulnerable populations.
  • Deliver effective harm reduction interventions including needle exchange, Blood Borne Virus prevention, and injecting-related advice.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Health and Social Care qualification is essential.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of comprehensive assessments and risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding adult and child protection policies.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
Salary Information:

The annual salary for this position ranges between £27,000 - £35,000 per annum, with opportunities for pay progression within the band.
