About the Role

As a key member of the National Grid team, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and management of learning across the organization. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with the Capability Development Manager to ensure that development and upskilling initiatives are effectively managed and delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Talent & Capability team with a range of administrative activities, including ordering equipment, managing annual events, and promoting courses.
  • Research and source vendors to supply training across various topics, serving as the primary point of contact for any issues or concerns.
  • Assist with learning invoicing and manage vendor relationships, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of billing queries.
  • Produce mandatory learning reports and provide ad-hoc learning data to the wider business and Talent & Capability team, as required.
  • Triage new learning requests and delegate tasks to the Talent & Capability team where necessary, ensuring efficient course attendance and participation management.
  • Support the Senior Learning Administrator with learning management requests, including amending learning records, uploading certification, and managing course attendance and dates.
  • Collaborate with Talent & Capability Specialists to manage calendars and liaise with suppliers to assess input needed from the business for new e-learning content creation.
  • Provide general administrative support for Leadership Development programs, including system access and feedback management.
  • Oversee administration related to current and future learning platforms, including LinkedIn Learning, managing licenses and curriculums.
