Director of Ecommerce Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Ecommerce to join our team at 360 Resourcing Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our ecommerce division and driving omnichannel excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that aligns with our growth plans
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize our online platform
  • Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, providing strategic direction and mentorship
  • Utilize analytics to track KPIs and provide regular reports to the board
  • Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to optimize conversion rates and customer experience
  • Ensure SEO markers are hit to drive traffic to our website
  • Track and demonstrate the value of online in generating leads and driving store footfall
  • Oversee the user experience, designing and implementing strategies to enhance website usability and discoverability
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in scaling ecommerce operations with a deep understanding of omnichannel retailing, ecommerce technologies, and digital marketing
  • Adaptable, customer-first leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and fosters a collaborative culture
  • Good understanding of omni-channel, including 'bricks & mortar' retail
  • Highly growth-focused with an understanding of the commercials across the business
  • Proven experience in tracking leads and customer touchpoints throughout their journey
  • Experience of working with brands that have multiple stores across the UK
  • Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in the ecommerce landscape
  • Experience in website management and functionality
  • Knowledge of SFCC (PWA kit) platform or other composable, headless storefront
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to influence strategic decisions
