Front End Developer / Software Engineer (TypeScript React)

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer / Software Engineer to join our team at a start-up Investment Management firm in Central Newcastle. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces and client dashboards for cutting-edge trading systems technology.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop user interfaces and client dashboards for trading systems technology
  • Take ownership of technical projects and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry
  • Work independently and as part of a small team to achieve project goals

About You:

  • Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group university
  • Strong front-end development experience with TypeScript and React
  • Good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
  • Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • Excited to join a start-up and shape the role
