Front End Developer / Software Engineer (TypeScript React)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer / Software Engineer to join our team at a start-up Investment Management firm in Newcastle. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces and client dashboards for cutting-edge trading systems technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of technical projects and design user interfaces and client dashboards
  • Develop front-end applications using TypeScript and React
  • Collaborate with the team to leverage new and emerging technology
  • Work independently and make decisions to drive project success

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group university
  • Strong front-end development experience with TypeScript and React
  • Good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
  • Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
