Medical Evacuation Coordinator

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Medical Evacuation Coordinator to join our team at International Medical. As a key member of our Critical Care and Transport team, you will play a critical role in arranging evacuations and repatriations for our clients.




  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage cases that meet the Critical Care and Transport Criteria, including medically escorted commercial repatriations and evacuations
  • Ensure all internal and external communications are dealt with in a professional, disciplined, and courteous manner
  • Maintain Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Update reserves and cost notes with accurate costings of repatriations
  • Manage Customer Service cases and pharmaceutical cases as required
  • Assess and approve transportation invoices, liaising with stakeholders when requirements are not met


Requirements:




  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and good listening skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle enquiries from all parties, VIPs, insured personnel, and underwriters
