Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Evacuation Specialist to join our Critical Care and Transport team at International Medical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for arranging evacuations and repatriations, managing cases that meet the Critical Care and Transport criteria, and ensuring all internal and external communications are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cases that meet the Critical Care and Transport criteria, including medically escorted commercial repatriations and evacuations, air ambulance repatriations and evacuations, inpatient cases, and cases where patients are admitted to intensive or high dependency care units.
- Ensure all internal and external communications are dealt with in a professional, disciplined, and courteous manner.
- Ensure all internal and external Service Level Agreements are maintained.
- Ensure all Key Performance Indicators are maintained.
- Update reserves and cost notes with accurate costings of repatriations to ensure accurate reserves are provided to our clients.
- Manage Customer Service cases and pharmaceutical cases as required.
- Assess and approve all transportation invoices to ensure providers are paid promptly and invoices received meet the requirements for approval.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and good listening skills.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to inspire others to achieve success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to use communications skills to train individuals or teams.
- A calm, diplomatic, open, and professional approach.
