Team/Specialism: Providing Support for Unaccompanied Minors
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Locum Social Services Practitioner, working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of each child and develop personalised care plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children by providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Promote the rights and interests of children through effective advocacy and legal support.
- A degree in social work or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Substantial frontline experience working as a qualified Social Worker within Children's Social Services in the UK.
Pay Rate: £30.57 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum, 3-Month contract
Working Hours: Full-time
Salary EstimateThe estimated salary for this role is £23,500-£27,000 per annum, depending on the number of hours worked.
