Job Description:

As a Senior Fleet Assistant, you will assist with the release and disposal of recovered vehicles, manage the disposal process through auctions when necessary, and represent the force in relation to vehicle recovery at national and regional levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the release and/or disposal of all recovered vehicles, managing the disposal of vehicles by auction when appropriate.
  • Represent the Force in relation to Vehicle Recovery at National and Regional levels.
  • Help with the development with Vehicle Recovery work systems and processing procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors, police officers, insurance companies and all other interested and third parties.

Requirements:

  • Experience of administrative duties such as invoicing, accounting and report writing.
  • The ability to defuse difficult situations and effectively deal with distressed or irate individuals.
  • Working knowledge of Data Protection and Computer Misuse legislation.
  • The ability to carry out audits and inspections of contractor's premise.

Salary: £27,789 - £29,874 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours).
