We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Assistant Supervisor to join our team at EMED Group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for supervising regional Automotive Fleet Assistants, ensuring compliance with routine scheduled mechanical, ancillary equipment, and vehicle deep cleans. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work to tight deadlines and act on own initiative.

The ideal candidate will have experience of repairing and servicing mechanical products, using practical and mechanical skills, reading and interpreting blown view drawings, and identifying improvements to processes and services. A full (manual), valid UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points is also essential.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Allocate work schedule to AFAs based on scheduled maintenance, VOR, reported defects, and deep clean requirements.
  • Be prepared to travel to any EMED bases to repair, service, and maintain product/equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Carry out checks and replacements of electrical components within EMED guidelines.
  • Evaluate tools and spare parts to ensure they are kept safely, securely, and maintained.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of basic spare parts within the region and report any defects through the defect process.
  • Work safely, adhering to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience of repairing and servicing mechanical products.
  • Practical and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blown view drawings.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Full (manual), valid UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points.
