Roc Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join our client's team in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test equipment for the telecoms industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop test equipment for the telecoms industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design
- Hands-on design experience with PCBs, circuit boards, microprocessors, and drivers
- Experience with embedded software for interfacing (C/C++)
- Familiarity with fibre optics, photodiodes, RF, Wi-Fi, OTDR, photometers, laser operations, and power supplies
**Desirable Skills:**
