Job Title: Senior Hardware Development Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Development Engineer to join our team at Langham Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware development, with a focus on designing and developing test measurement engines for Twisted Pair Ethernet, Fibre optic and Wi-Fi transmission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test measurement engines for Twisted Pair Ethernet, Fibre optic and Wi-Fi transmission
- Work on both hardware and software for fibre optic test equipment
- Prototype and test fibre optic test equipment, conducting performance and accuracy testing
- Integrate hardware and software components for all products
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing equipment, diagnosing and rectifying hardware and software issues

Requirements:
- BEng or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of embedded systems, instrumentation or test equipment
- Comfortable with capturing and processing high-speed data
- Digital electronics design experience, including FPGA development, I2C, SPI and USB
- Embedded software development experience with C, C++, Linux, including hardware drivers
