A Global Leader in Tier-1 Automotive seeks an Electrical Hardware Design Expert to spearhead the design life cycle of electronic hardware and embedded software development.

This role involves leading the embedded design function, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing design specifications, and overseeing technical decisions.

  • Lead the Embedded Design Function, becoming the design authority for PCB and firmware solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Applications, and Software Teams to ensure project delivery aligns with customer expectations.
  • Develop and Maintain Embedded Design Specifications, Concepts, and Standards.
  • Oversee Technical Decisions during Qualification of New Products and Solutions.
  • Manage the Embedded Lab and its Equipment, ensuring robust testing and validation processes.

Required qualifications include a degree in Electronics Engineering or HNC/HND with 5+ years of experience in an electronics engineering environment, proficiency in Altium and other PCB design systems, expertise in power electronics, embedded processors, serial communications, and EMC.
