Electrical and Mechanical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our Waste Treatment Division, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on various equipment, including pumps, control gear, motors, starters, and electronic control systems.
- Investigate plant failures, carry out repairs, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Conduct scheduled planned maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment to improve plant resilience and efficiency.
- Provide technical advice and support to the wider team, including training and mentoring of technical trainees.
Requirements:
- ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering.
- Valid driving license and physical fitness to work in confined spaces.
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance and a time-served apprenticeship in electrical systems.
