Key Responsibilities- Support users across the business in key applications, identifying opportunities for further training and development.
- Monitor application usage and SLAs with third-party providers to review suitability and performance.
- Identify organisational need for change, and new applications as well as development of existing applications.
- Lead and manage upgrades and new technology implementations, focusing on speed, automation, and efficiency.
- Develop workflow plans and technical specification road-maps to support implementations.
- Provide project management support across various organisational projects, influencing, coaching, and mentoring teams to support successful delivery and implementation.
- Ensure the business is ready for any new system and that the implementation runs smoothly.
- Provide oversight and management of IT hardware and software, liaising closely with external providers.
- Ensure key regulations are adhered to, including cyber security and anti-money laundering laws.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience delivering projects or working in a project management environment, delivering complex cross-organisational projects.
- Experience using and implementing automation tools.
- Knowledge of organisational data and IT security standards, policies and procedures.
- Understanding of approaches to combining data from different sources, and the use of data tools/methods of analysis.
- Principles of testing methodologies to ensure successful implementation - manual and automated.
- Experience identifying and adding value, eliminating waste and improving processes.
- Strong relationship building skills in managing external provider contracts.
- Demonstrable experience of change and release processes - implementing new systems or applications within a business environment.
- Effective planning skills to ensure smooth delivery of new implementations and upgrades with minimal disruption to business as usual.
- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and approaches to security testing in systems.
- Knowledge of the principles and processes of an application or systems lifecycle.
- Ability to evaluate, appraise, cost and consider business risks.
- Experience in training and developing staff.
- Demonstrably strong change management and influencing skills, being a role model for agile behaviours - growth, trust, collaboration and reflection.
- Good understanding of how digital tools can be used to improve efficiency across organisations.
- Experience of working within and managing a defects management process.
