We are seeking an experienced Application Support Manager to join our team at Pratap Partnership Ltd. as part of our digital transformation project. This newly created role offers a suitably experienced individual the chance to join our company and contribute to our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support users across the business in key applications, identifying opportunities for further training and development.
  • Monitor application usage and SLAs with third-party providers to review suitability and performance.
  • Identify organisational need for change, and new applications as well as development of existing applications.
  • Lead and manage upgrades and new technology implementations, focusing on speed, automation, and efficiency.
  • Develop workflow plans and technical specification road-maps to support implementations.
  • Provide project management support across various organisational projects, influencing, coaching, and mentoring teams to support successful delivery and implementation.
  • Ensure the business is ready for any new system and that the implementation runs smoothly.
  • Provide oversight and management of IT hardware and software, liaising closely with external providers.
  • Ensure key regulations are adhered to, including cyber security and anti-money laundering laws.
Requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience delivering projects or working in a project management environment, delivering complex cross-organisational projects.
  • Experience using and implementing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of organisational data and IT security standards, policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of approaches to combining data from different sources, and the use of data tools/methods of analysis.
  • Principles of testing methodologies to ensure successful implementation - manual and automated.
  • Experience identifying and adding value, eliminating waste and improving processes.
  • Strong relationship building skills in managing external provider contracts.
  • Demonstrable experience of change and release processes - implementing new systems or applications within a business environment.
  • Effective planning skills to ensure smooth delivery of new implementations and upgrades with minimal disruption to business as usual.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and approaches to security testing in systems.
  • Knowledge of the principles and processes of an application or systems lifecycle.
  • Ability to evaluate, appraise, cost and consider business risks.
  • Experience in training and developing staff.
  • Demonstrably strong change management and influencing skills, being a role model for agile behaviours - growth, trust, collaboration and reflection.
  • Good understanding of how digital tools can be used to improve efficiency across organisations.
  • Experience of working within and managing a defects management process.
