About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Nacro. As a key member of our Community Accommodation Support service, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs to find and maintain stable housing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans to help residents achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Provide weekly support sessions to residents, working with them to identify and address their housing needs.
  • Manage a caseload of residents and properties, ensuring that all support plans and risk assessments are up-to-date and effective.
  • Liaise with partner agencies, such as the Probation and Prison Services, Courts, and Police, to ensure seamless support for residents.
  • Empower and motivate residents to take control of their lives and make positive changes.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop person-centred support plans and work with vulnerable adults with complex needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and ability to work in a way that prioritises resident safety and well-being.
  • Flexibility to travel within your allocated area for training and team meetings, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with computer-based packages and ability to use them to support resident needs.
