Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Assistant to support the Crayola brand and product range. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing plans, executing campaigns, and managing trade events.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of the brand marketing plan, analyzing key marketing drivers to ensure brand growth and identifying weaknesses and opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate brand performance, recommending and executing solutions to improve effectiveness and creating post-activity reports.
- Conduct competitive research on new products, existing products, and consumer reviews, identifying new opportunities through market and category gap analysis.
- Work closely with agencies to execute marketing campaigns, manage social media activities, and develop new creative outputs.
- Develop and present product presentations to sales and customers, managing and updating brand documentation and product line plans.
- Manage stored product information on the company database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Help gain Licensor approvals on product/pack/media development.
- Use company margins and profitability models to negotiate the best prices and maintain pricing documentation.
- Catalogue and provide imagery and copy management.
- Ensure the Crayola UK website is up-to-date, working efficiently, and providing analytic reports on its usage.
- Audit online retailers, including Amazon, to ensure copy and imagery are up-to-date and products are displayed effectively.
- Support trade show planning and implementation, working with the CMC.
- Involved in showroom design and upkeep, including image boards, sample ordering, and product changeovers.
- Perform store checks and produce store check reports and imagery.
- Oversee the production and collection of prototypes and samples for customers.
- Be a day-to-day contact for product queries and social media assistance, working with the social media agency and customer services.
- Help manage social media content calendars and tracking.
- 1-2 years' experience in a marketing environment.
- Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines in a fast-moving marketing department.
- Strong communication and administration skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work across different projects and prioritize workload.
- Exhibition planning and coordination.
- Team player, flexible, and able to hit the ground running.
