Chief Medical Officer (Operations) - Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious medical leader to join our executive team as Chief Medical Officer (Operations). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our organisation and contribute to delivering high-quality care and clinical excellence.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in complex healthcare settings, with a focus on partnership working, collaboration, quality of care, and service delivery. They will be able to lead across STH and the wider system, shaping and influencing strategic direction at the national level.

The salary for this role is approximately £120,000 per annum.

About the Role

The postholder will take the lead on quality and safety, medical workforce development, and leadership. They will work closely with our Clinical Directors to ensure assurance and support for all aspects of clinical services. The postholder will also be a member of the Shelford Group Medical Director's Group, working with external organisations and agencies to drive improvement and innovation.
