Job Description

Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our Technical Team at Keepmoat Homes. This role will support our successful Yorkshire East region, who have a robust and secure plan for future developments.

The Planning Manager will be responsible for coordinating Planning Applications Packages in line with business delivery. They will also facilitate starts on site through coordinating and discharging planning conditions.

The successful candidate will maintain document control and develop planning status reports, and other general tasks related to planning applications in line with internal systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Planning Applications Packages to meet business delivery targets
  • Facilitate starts on site by coordinating and discharging planning conditions
  • Maintain document control and develop planning status reports
  • Research planning designations and history to undertake basic site assessment and evaluations

Requirements

  • Experience within a similar role in the housebuilding/construction industry
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to maintain document control and develop planning status reports
