Principal Audit Professional

Achilles Information Limited is seeking an experienced Principal Audit Professional to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audits to our clients in the Utilities, Construction, Oil and Gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Pre-audit preparation to ensure effective delivery of audit services
- Deliver scheduled on-site audits to meet chargeability targets
- Create detailed audit reports to the agreed quality requirements
- Submit completed audit reports to meet agreed community/scheme SLAs
- Manage costs associated with audit delivery, including travel and expenses
- Ensure all audits are carried out in line with relevant industry and scheme standards
- Prepare detailed audit reports which are accurate, grammatically correct, and provide evidence and justification of findings
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the various schemes, while ensuring that they conform to the framework of corporate standards and procedures
- Liaise with customers and/or other interested parties to provide guidance on the content of the scheme
- Ensure customers are contacted prior to the audit in line with company requirements, audit arrangements and preparedness
- Be an ambassador for Achilles and the Community while interacting with customers
- Full driving license
- A Health and Safety professional qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Lead Auditor via examination (IRCA or equivalent)
- Experience of auditing and delivery of audit programmes
- Exposure to customer service industries
