Senior Support Worker

About the Role:
">- This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Support Worker in a Children's home in Medway, Kent.
- You will be responsible for leading shifts, allocating tasks, and managing staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
- As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver high-quality services to meet the needs of our residents, including individualized support plans and daily activities.
Responsibilities:
">- Lead shifts and staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children and young people
- Develop and deliver high-quality services to meet the needs of our residents
- Monitor and report on resident progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a residential childcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management role
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing residential childcare
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and other stakeholders
