Senior Support Worker Opportunity

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and caring Senior Support Worker to join our team in Clayton Le Woods, Lancashire.

In this key role, you will work closely with adults who require support due to learning and physical difficulties, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritized. As a senior member of the team, you will also oversee and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of compassion and excellence.

Main Job Responsibilities
  • Adult Safeguarding: Identify and report any signs of harm, abuse, or neglect, maintaining a safe environment for all.
  • Personal Support: Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic duties.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting best practices and high-quality care.
  • Continuing Professional Development: Pursue a level 3 or 5 qualification to enhance your expertise and knowledge.
