Senior Account Director Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Account Director to lead our Client Services team and drive business growth through exceptional client relationships and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage client accounts, ensuring successful project delivery and growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, driving retention and increasing scope.
  • Lead client teams in meetings and communications, ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and upsell agency services to clients.
  • Manage client budgets, develop budget trackers, and report on project performance.
  • Take a leading role in new business pitches, creating compelling decks and presentations.
  • Provide critical feedback on creative work, ensuring alignment with client briefs and priorities.
  • Lead content production, managing shoots and collaborating with producers, directors, and editors.
  • Set account strategies with the support of Coolr's internal strategy team.
  • Line manage Client Services team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Director or Account Director in a social first agency.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • Solutions-focused, with creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate internal teams and build trust with clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, prioritize tasks, and negotiate with suppliers and partners.
  • Knowledge of popular culture and social media news, with strong organizational and administrative skills.
