Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a member of the Shared Services Group legal team, you will work closely with colleagues across our three group companies providing timely, sound, commercially focused legal advice on a range of commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including NDAs, amendments to standard terms and conditions of purchase and bespoke agreements.
  • Advising on and managing legal issues including civil litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Evaluating multiple inputs/impacts of decisions/courses of action and identifying proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Assisting with compliance programme development and advising on ad hoc compliance related queries.
  • Performing other tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with 2 years post qualification experience.
  • High calibre experience with a top law firm or in-house legal environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to build relationships and relate to clients.
  • Confidence to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to legal challenges.
