The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ecommerce Digital Trader to support our sales plan across all digital platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing actions to drive sales growth and optimize our online presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with ecommerce category traders to develop and implement digital campaign plans.
  • Update ecommerce category pages to ensure a cohesive strategy across digital channels.
  • Analyze category sales and content strategy with the support of ecommerce category managers.
  • Maintain web script space, identifying opportunities to trade into script space and agreeing on the best course of action with category traders.
  • Support the team in finalizing the brief for on-site real estate plans to improve customer discovery, journey, and sales.
  • Develop an understanding of customer buying and journey behavior to optimize real estate planning opportunities.
  • Support product placement onsite to enhance customer journey and drive sales.
Requirements
  • Commercial acumen and ability to make decisions based on sales trends for a broad catalogue of products.
  • Demonstrate delivering growth on KPIs.
  • Aware of competitor activity and digital trends in the market.
  • Experience forecasting for ecommerce.
  • Experience of process improvement and making recommendations.
  • Excellent numerical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Financial understanding including margin, profit, sales, and inventory management.
