About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Veolia UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance programs, new installations, and certification of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with statutory rules and regulations.
  • Manage a team of multi-skilled personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with site EHS and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance data, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure that the CMMS system is up-to-date and accurate, reflecting the latest equipment data, spares, and maintenance man-hours.
  • Maximize maintenance wrench time utilization through effective planning and coordination.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a strong understanding of statutory rules and regulations.
  • Time-served electrical apprenticeship and relevant certifications (BS 2391, 18th Edition, etc.).
  • Supervisory experience, with a track record of leading teams and achieving results.
  • Knowledge of building management systems, preventive maintenance systems, and computerized maintenance management work order systems.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID's, electrical drawings, and SOP's.
  • Methodical and analytical approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
