Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Mechanical Engineer to join our operations team, responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure in our data centers. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities and delivering best-in-class service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site inspections and monitor building and data center alarms to ensure optimal facility performance.

  • Ensure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure is conducted, or handled by vendors with your oversight, to prevent equipment failures and downtime.

  • Maintain repairs and run corrective maintenance on equipment to ensure minimal disruption to our operations.

  • Prepare and carry out planned maintenance to ensure our facilities remain in top condition.

  • Complete site logs and data gathering for permits, such as MOPs and scripts, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Complete basic work requests and circuit installations to support our data center operations.

  • Participate in ongoing infrastructure projects to drive innovation and improvement in our facilities.

  • Carry out small works projects, such as electrical and mechanical repairs, to maintain our facilities.

Requirements

  • ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

  • Previous data center / critical environment experience, preferably in a similar role.

  • Self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Clean UK driving license, with the ability to travel to various sites.
