About the Role

PPL PRS is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Telesales Adviser to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and customer-centric service through various contact channels, generating new business invoices and customers.

This is a hybrid role, offering the perfect balance of working from our modern office space and from home. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Contact and Invoicing: Proactively manage customer contact through various channels, process new business invoices, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Sales Enquiries and Conversion: Take inbound sales enquiries, convert them into customers, and provide a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Licencing and Verification: Verify and gather relevant information, licence customers at the first point of contact, and ensure accurate tariff information.
  • Customer Queries and Resolution: Deal with existing customer queries efficiently, provide solutions, and transfer them to the correct department.
  • Lead Generation and Management: Create leads, ensure correct Salesforce process, and take ownership of customer leads/accounts.
  • Objection Handling and Evidence Gathering: Use objection handling techniques to resolve customer queries, gather evidence of music usage, and ensure customers are adequately licenced.
  • Customer Experience and Service Standards: Deliver a positive customer experience, contribute to department service standards, and consistently achieve/exceed call quality targets.
  • Education and Advice: Educate and advise customers on the benefits of music to their business, ensure they understand contractual licensing terms and conditions, and demonstrate a positive image of the company.
  • Team Collaboration and Knowledge Development: Work co-operatively with other teams, develop and maintain knowledge of market sectors, core licensing processes, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a call centre, retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales environment.
  • Skills: Competent in Microsoft Office, good verbal communication, and experience of copyright or licensing in a structured environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Organised, able to manage own priorities and workload, good attention to detail, and proactive in negotiating.
