Sales Manager

Brakes is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team in North Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to forge a career in sales and drive business growth in the independent sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leveraging strong customer relationships, growing and retaining customers, and delivering profitable volume growth versus targets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Role model our Company Values / Purpose
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth
- Effectively partner with customers to understand their plans for growth and add value
- Stay up-to-date with competitor activity and proposals to ensure the best local solutions are offered
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a successful handover
- Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in the local market
The ideal candidate will be highly service-focused, tenacious, and resilient, with a proven track record of delivering against targets. They will also be self-motivated to enhance their own development and leverage a diverse range of skills and experience.
As a Sales Manager at Brakes, you will have the opportunity to progress into a vast range of commercial roles and develop your career. You will also be confident in the adoption of our modernisation programme and new technology to improve the customer experience and optimise performance.
