Store Manager Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Manager Leader to join our team at Matalan. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales and profit targets, as well as delivering excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have previous retail management experience, ideally within a volume retailer, and a proven track record of delivering high standards and KPIs. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for this role.
You will work closely with the store management team to drive performance, development, and succession planning. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance and audit activities across the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial opportunity through daily analysis of sales performance and delegation of key actions to the store team.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team to deliver an excellent customer experience every day.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of compliance and audit related activities across the store.
