About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Winifred Dell Care Home in Brentwood, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Salary Information:The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.20-£13.60, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor and support a team of Care Assistants to ensure outstanding care delivery.
- Engage in meaningful activities with residents and promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
- Create person-centred care plans and risk assessments to deliver high-quality care.
- Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care OR three years' experience without an NVQ.
- Experience in a nursing or care home OR as a home care worker.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks - Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Knowledge and practice of working with people suffering with dementia is desirable.
- Previous experience prompting/administering medication using an electronic e-MAR system would be desirable.
- 28 Days holiday including bank holidays.
