Funding and Collateral Management Analyst

Job Summary:

ING Wholesale Banking is seeking a highly skilled Funding and Collateral Management Analyst to join its Financial Markets Credit Exposure Management team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for actively pricing and hedging funding implications on FM derivative transactions, optimizing collateral for ING's derivatives portfolios, and centralizing and managing liquidity for the bank's markets division.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in running the Derivative Funding Framework for the Bank and performing the monthly analysis
  • Quoting Funding XVA (Valuation Adjustments) for various Derivatives portfolios at FM Trading's requests
  • Performing monthly reporting and analysis for various Collateral metrics
  • Independent analysis of collateral position and movement for the Bank
  • Performing PnL analysis and substantiation for the Funding, Liquidity and Collateral CEM (Credit Exposure Management) FM Profit Centres
  • Developing and running control functions for various aspects of CEM Funding
  • Participate in developing new tools and methodologies for CEM Funding
  • Negotiating with counterparties on various aspects related to CEM Funding
  • Identify and implement optimisation opportunities across all pillars of CEM Funding

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative subject or equivalent
  • Finance degree or course in Derivatives and/or Risk is desirable but not essential
  • VBA
  • Exceptional excel modelling and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other Office tools
  • Basic knowledge of Interest Rate, FX and Credit derivatives
  • Basic knowledge of Counterparty and Credit Risk, XVA concepts
  • Good presentation skills
