Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organization, is seeking a skilled Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their vehicle workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team and ensuring all work meets high standards and service targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Workshop Management: Oversee the daily operations of the vehicle workshop, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Participate in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with VOSA regulations and preparation for MOTs.
- Maintenance Records: Maintain up-to-date servicing and maintenance records in accordance with the Operator's Licence requirements.
- Business Development: Assist in the planning and implementation of a Business Development Plan to offer external services and generate additional income for the Council.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with Councillors, the public, and customers, resolving requests and complaints efficiently.
- Experience of working with heavy vehicles, plant, and commercial vehicles.
- Experience of working within a mixed fleet environment.
- LGV Class II Driving Licence.
