Cost Management Specialist - London

Murphy is actively looking for a Cost Management Specialist to take on a pivotal role in achieving commercial goals within the Thames Water Framework. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage Main Contracts and Subcontracts
  • Oversee subcontract payment notifications
  • Generate cost/value reconciliation reports
  • Identify and assess commercial risks and opportunities
  • Track planned versus actual expenditures
  • Issue contractual notifications and proposals
  • Engage in procurement and tendering processes
  • Uphold Murphy's core values

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency with NEC contracts
  • Capability to measure value addition in estimating and costing
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial procedures

Project Overview:

  • Thames Water AMP7 Framework with potential extension into AMP8
  • Focus on infrastructure projects in North London
  • Projects valued up to £30m, encompassing both water and wastewater initiatives
