Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Integral UK. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on the status of quotes, providing accurate information to account coordinators for customer reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing quotations for remedial works and issuing them to customers.
  • Generating contract renewal proposals to retain existing customers.
  • Chasing outstanding remedial quotes and renewals to improve conversion rates.
  • Revising and re-issuing any rejected quotes on customer portals.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value costings are achieved.
  • Providing customer support and responding to queries related to remedial quotations and contract renewals.
  • Actioning all customer queries and requests in a timely manner, escalating as required.
  • Liaising efficiently with customers, service engineers, and the wider Integral UK team.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of all relevant IT systems.
  • Ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize conversions and margins.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the fire engineering industry with a good understanding of fire engineering service contracts.
  • Experience of developing service quotations/bids.
  • Understanding of construction programs, building regulations, and fire industry standards and legislation.
  • Creative approach with the ability to maintain and develop positive customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable numerical skills.
  • Ideal candidate will have performed a similar sales/estimating role within the fire protection industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Proven IT skills with experience of MS office packages.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as an effective team player in a close-knit and highly successful team.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with the natural ability to engage with customers/clients representing Integral UK professionally and positively.
  • Experience in dealing with end users, insurers, and main contractors.
