Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting community assessments for adults with disabilities, recommending and organizing the supply of equipment and structural adaptations to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete strength-based assessments for adults with disabilities, applying the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.
  • Recommend and organize the supply of equipment and structural adaptations to meet the assessed need.
  • Demonstrate to adults with disabilities and their carers in the use of equipment and/or adaptations provided.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Relevant experience working in a local authority and be confident and competent in the completion of manual handling assessments.

This is a full-time position with a 3-month initial contract, with the possibility of extension. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £30-£37.52p/h, paid through an umbrella company.
