Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of service users and carers to identify their needs and develop personalized plans.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on equipment and home modifications to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
- Work collaboratively with Social Work colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to care and support.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to address the needs of our residents, including equipment and adaptation recommendations.
- Conduct moving and handling assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
- Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of safeguarding principles and the importance of dignity and respect in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community, with a focus on community rehabilitation and rapid response.
- Experience working with major adaptations and manual handling techniques.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a valid Enhanced DBS/CRB check.
