Community Facing CAMHS Consultant

We are looking for a talented Community Facing CAMHS Consultant to join our team, responsible for working with children and young people with mental health needs, across Kent and Medway. This is a new substantive full-time post, 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5) per week, with an estimated salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (pro-rata).
The successful candidate will provide senior medical support and guidance to our multidisciplinary teams, work directly with young people and their families, and liaise with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals. They will participate in the on-call rota, with a frequency of 1:14, and a 3% on-call supplement.
The ideal candidate will have a CCT or equivalent, Full GMC registration with a licence to practice, Section 12 Approval, and Approved Clinician status. They will also be committed to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
