Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Facilities Management team as an Estate Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a vital cleaning service across our estate, ensuring our properties are safe and clean places to work or learn in.

About the Role:

As an Estate Maintenance Specialist, you will be a key member of our team, contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of our estate. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a high-quality cleaning service, ensuring all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings are clean and well-maintained.

You will also be required to empty litter and recycling bins, clean sanitary areas, toilets, and showers, and replenish washroom consumables. In addition, you will be responsible for emergency and reactive cleaning as needed, such as removing graffiti, body fluid spillages, and accidental spillages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality cleaning service across our estate, ensuring all properties are safe and clean.
  • Empty litter and recycling bins, and clean all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Clean sanitary areas, toilets, and showers, and replenish washroom consumables.
  • Perform emergency and reactive cleaning as needed, including removing graffiti, body fluid spillages, and accidental spillages.
  • Take care of all equipment used in carrying out the above duties.
  • Support cleaning tasks across other buildings as required.
  • Deliver to the cleaning specification requirements and cooperate with performance measurement to ensure the overall agreed standards are met.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and materials.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £24,000 - £24,000 (pro rata for part-time and sessional), as well as excellent benefits, including paid annual leave, a pension scheme, and opportunities for career progression.
